WEEK 2: OUR FIRST STEPS IN C1

In today's blog, it's time for you to know me a little better and my surroundings. 

I have such a big family: in my house, I live with my mother and my two siblings, however, apart from them I have 5 uncles by mother's part and an aunt and an uncle by my father's part. Besides, my grandma is a very important person for the whole family, for me she's the best grandma ever, since, despite she's 77 years old she came with my cousins, their parents and me to New York! and every year she comes with us to any country, for example we have to Bulgaria, Macedonia, UK and Germany! apart from the last trip that was New York.

Apart from my family, I have a great group of friends that I know since I was 3 or 6 years old, in other words almost my entire life, they are María, who I know since the first day class, Ana, Elisa and Lola, who is my cousin apart from being my best friend. I love my group of friends since I have traveled with them to places like Mojacar, Málaga, Prague or Berlin, and I hope this year we will do another summer trip.

Apart from this great group of friends I have my other univerty friends who are Ainhoa, Ana, Carmen, Bea, Blanca, Flori, Isa, Claudia, Alberto, Pablo and Inma, and next February 9th we'll go to Paris to have a rest from the exams.

As for my future, when I finish my degree in English Studies in four years, I would go to the United States of America to do a master specialized in education and if all goes well I will come back to engage in a personal project that I am looking forward to create that has to do with audiovisual means.

We think that improve our writing is so important, but we need to improve this skill step by stpe. Nowadays is so easy to find how improve basic skills in Internet and for that reason, we use it all time!! To improve our writing, mainly we search in some pages the most frequent mistakes with the end of not to have mistaken, secondly we usually listen songs with its lyrics in order to improve our writing and obviously, our listening. Furthermore, we try to read some interviews and newspapers to know how is its format and how it is writing, and clearly, to learn more about current affairs. I have chosen this interview to Manolo Blahnik because I have found it very interesting and also very enjoyable.  Entrevista  In this interview, someone is asking Manolo Blahnik several questions related to fashion. First of all, the interviewer is asking him about the kind of shoes that he is wearing at that moment and this reply is the perfect one because he says that he is wearing the same kind of clothes that he wears when he started designing what show us that he is the same kind of person that he was. Then he relates that he started creating men shoes just because they were interested on it and also he tells that he was horrified with Balenciaga's trainers because they don't contribute to highlight the women's body and that he don't understand why people spend this incredible amount of money on them.
